COSADE 2022 has been rescheduled to April 11-12 in order to avoid an overlap with Real World Crypto.

The currently valid Covid-19 regulations of Belgium and KU Leuven permit a physical conference, thus we continue to prepare for that. Any updates will be posted here.

Please check the requirements to enter Belgium and ensure the compliance to them.

In accordance with Belgian regulations and KU Leuven policy, a Covid Safe Ticket will be required for accessing COSADE 2022 and checks will be enforced every day at the entrance. A Covid Safe Ticket proves that you are fully vaccinated, tested negative or recovered. Equivalent certificates from all EU member states should be compatible. A valid Covid Safe Ticket is also required to access restaurants, in particular the one of the social event. Face masks are mandatory recommended in all indoor areas of the university campus.

Leuven, Belgium

Leuven is a versatile city. On the one hand, it has an age-old heritage: the university is the oldest in the country, as is the Botanic Garden, not to mention the incredible Gothic architecture. On the other hand, the university fills the city to the brim with young people. They bring a thrilling, innovative vibe with them. Here are seven reasons why Leuven is worth a visit. Letters from conference organization

International registrants should be particularly aware and careful about visa requirements, and should plan travel well in advance. Please send your request for a letter in support of a visa application to pela [dot] noe [at] esat [dot] kuleuven [dot] be. Use the subject line "COSADE 2022 Visa" and include your name, mailing address, and fax number. Also make sure to indicate which embassy/consulate you are applying to. Support letters for non-authors

Due to the high volume of fraudulent visa requests in recent years, a request for a letter in support of a visa application from non-authors must be accompanied by

  1. a statement of interest, motivating the requestor’s interest in the conference topic, as well as
  2. a brief resume, demonstrating a corresponding professional/academic background in related areas
