In accordance with Swiss entry regulation, everyone entering Switzerland must present an entry form. If you are not vaccinated or recovered, you must also show proof of a negative test. Please check the requirements to enter Switzerland and ensure the compliance to them.

In accordance with Swiss regulations and USI COVID-19 campus protection provisions, a COVID certificate will be required for accessing COSADE 2021 and checks will be enforced every day at the entrance; a valid COVID certificate is also required to access restaurants, in particular the one of the social event. Face masks are also mandatory in all indoor areas of the university campus.

Registration Details

Two types of registrations are available for COSADE 2021, on site in Lugano or virtual. The registration fees follow.

On Site: the registration fee is 450CHF (350 CHF for students). This fee includes welcome reception, lunches, coffee breaks and the conference dinner. Hotel rooms need to be booked separately.

Virtual: the registration fee is 50CHF

If you register until October 10, 2021, you benefit from an early-bird registration discount! The early-bird registration fee is 350 CHF; (250 CHF for students, 20 CHF virtual)

Participants may ask to convert their registration from on site to virtual or viceversa till the 18th of October. The change from virtual to on site registration implies the payment of the on site fees (i.e., at the time of the change request, the participants will be asked to pay the difference between virtual and on site fees). The rate for the new registration is the one at the moment of the first payed registration (for instance, participants with virtual early registration, will be moved to on site early registration even if the early registration deadline has passed). The change from on site to virtual registration implies the refund of the difference between the two fees. Currency change and credit card expenses will be automatically detracted from the refund. The same conditions apply in the event that COSADE 2021 is moved to a fully online-only workshop. To change the type of your registration, please contact us at: COSADE conference Organization.

For authors, one registration (On site or Virtual) per paper is required.
